NaTiV began with a simple love of nature.

The outdoors and our home garden have always been a place to slow down, relax and decompress from the demands of work and a busy family life. Then a Mother's Day gift - An Introduction to Beekeeping course with our local beekeeping association - sparked a fascination that quickly became much more.

Our first colony arrived in July 2025 - A beautiful  colony of Welsh Black Bees. With them came a growing fascination with our native bee, the landscape it belongs to, and the importance of protecting bees genuinely adapted to life here - and the vital role in pollinating our native plants.

The name reflects what sits at the heart of it all; native bees, local honey and working with nature rather than against it..
